BEFORE SENDING US YOUR SUBMISSION: READ AND UNDERSTAND THIS AGREEMENT.

AGREEMENT: By utilizing our FREE services, we request you list "Bay Area Casting News" in the credits of your project, wherever appropriate, such as under 'Special Thanks,' or 'Acknowledgments,' etc.
If it is not possible to list the words "Bay Area Casting News" in your credits, there is a nominal filing fee ($35.) to cover editorial and web posting time.

BACN reserves the right to screen all postings.   Professionalism is our priority. The Bay Area Casting News (BACN) audition page is NOT a self service bulletin board. Your submission will be screened for content and posted to the site by our web wizard. Your submission will be edited for decency and accuracy. We'll call you if we need anything clarified. If you want to view your listing after it is posted, you'll need to send us either a subscription or listing fee. Thanks for submitting your project. Filmmakers report to us great responses and appreciate the opportuntity to directly connect with actors.

YOUR CASTING ANNOUNCEMENT WILL GENERALLY BE DISTRIBUTED TO OUR SUBSCRIBERS VIA EMAIL WITHIN A FEW HOURS unless there is missing information and we need to talk to you directly. THEN IT IS POSTED TO THE WEB SITE.

1) Fill out this form completely. An incomplete form may result in the delay of your posting reaching our subscribers.

2) Watch your email in-box for confirmation we have received your email submission and approximatley when your notice should appear on the site. PAY SPECIAL ATTENTION TO THE "EXTRA INFO. BOX" below. Simply state whether you are giving us screen credit, or need to pay the listing fee. Check made payable to Bay Area Casting News, $35.

A POINT OF CLARIFICATION: The screen credit if not optional, and is NOT contingent upon whether your final casting choices result from your BACN listing. We burn time and labor to place your listing on the web site BEFORE you make any casting decisions. If you want us to do that for you for FREE, then you must agree to place "Bay Area Casting News" in your credits, regardless of who is your final choice or where they were referred from. Or, pay the $35. and it doesn't matter. Anyone who helps you with your film should be in the credits. Thank you and good luck with your project.

PROJECT: THIS IS YOUR TITLE OR WORKING TITLE IN ALL CAPS
PRODUCER:
This is who is responsible for this project and this audition.

DESCRIPTION:
Your log line, a brief story synopsis. Please including your anticipated rating. Also, include any union affiliation, if any, and whether there is any nudity in this project.

FORMAT:
This refers to film stock, digital, or media.

ROLES:
PLEASE INCLUDE: name, age range, race, ethnicity and character adjectives, nudity requirements, etc. Please indicate, LEAD roles, SUPPORTING,&EXTRAS. CAPITALIZE CHARACTERS NAMES.:

If nudity is required for particular role, you MUST say so.
INCLUDE ANY CREW POSITIONS WITH ROLES.

PROCEDURE:
This means HOW are actors to reach you. Where should they send headshots and resumes? Or, where do they call for an appointment?

PAY/PERKS;
If you make an effort to pay something in addition to covering expenses, such as gas, bridge tolls, parking, food, etc
YOU WILL ATTRACT MORE QUALIFIED ACTORS WITH EXPERIENCE.

SHOOT DATES:
Be specific. If you don't know yet, approximate.

Confirm you've read and understand the usage agreement  (at top of page) by

"Yes I understand the agreement outlined above and I will give BACN screen credit"

OR:
"We are not able to give screen credit. The $35 listing fee is on it's way to you.
I understand failing to do so is a violation of my word. "

We will return submissions to you with missing or incomplete information. We must have your agreement of either screen credit, or the listing fee.
